Vickie has been painting and drawing for over twenty years and has
studied under such teachers as Pat Appling, Joyce Ortner, Brenda
Harris, Mary Owens and Valerie Stewart. When her 23 year career
ended in 2002, she decided to follow her passion for art and open A
World of Arts & Crafts. A World of Arts & Crafts remained ope for 8
years. During that time is provided a fun, artistic place for new friends
and old to gather, paint and create. Today, she balances traveling and
teaching others to paint, while continuing to pursue new artistic
ventures.
Vickie teaches painting and drawing classes to all ages and skill levels.
She expresses her passion for painting through teaching and shares the
pride of accomplishment with her students as they create their own
masterpieces and say, "I did that"!
Vickie's philosophy is that if you have the desire, you can succeed. All
you need is the instruction on the tools and techniques.
"Life is a great canvas, you should throw all the paint on it you can!"
