Vickie has been painting and drawing for over twenty years and has
studied under such teachers as Pat Appling, Joyce Ortner, Brenda
Harris, Mary Owens and Valerie Stewart. When her 23 year career
ended in 2002, she decided to follow her passion for art and open Art &
Soul (formerly A World of Arts & Crafts). Today, she balances working
at the store with traveling and teaching others to paint.
Vickie teaches painting and drawing classes to all ages and skill levels.
She expresses her passion for painting through teaching and shares the
pride of accomplishment with her students as they create their own
masterpieces and say, "I did that"!
Vickie's philosophy is that if you have the desire, you can succeed. All
you need is the instruction on the tools and techniques.
